• Key Accountabilities
• Be responsible for all marketing project assignments, including establishing parameters (i.e. materials, costs, production schedule and the like), developing ideas and design comprehensives and producing final products consistent with the initially supplied information
• Maintain and provide timely updates to web content for social media accounts and the School’s website by coordinating with the School’s photographer and writing text for all engagement strategies highlighting school life and services
• Write HAIS Life headlines, yearbook articles and other various writing projects
• Review all published written work for accuracy, spelling, punctuation, grammar, consistency, format, spacing and overall visual appeal
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as participation in events, committees, staff meetings and on-campus duties
• Plan for, participate in and assist in executing staff meetings with school leads and colleagues to meet optimum marking potential
• Regularly conduct market research on technology, marketing, communication and brand strategies to stay current on social media trends and technology needs and ensure marketing efforts are meeting industry standards
• Maintain bulletin boards and ensure that signage is up to date across the campus
• Facilitate periodic communication with school leads and any parent-teacher associations to determine their marketing needs and monitor overall progress
• Attend and represent the school at tabling and promotional events, on and off-campus as needed (this may include weekend events
• Assist in establishing and maintaining professional relationships with both off-campus vendors and partners
• Establish and maintain a Social Media footprint through appropriate channels
• Actively engage the school community through social channels, such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Weibo, WeChat, KakaoTalk, etc
• Assists with special campus events and civic engagement programmes
• Assist in the responsibility for the inventory and maintenance of marketing-related equipment and technology
• Assist with the development and implementation of evaluations such as focus groups, online surveys and forum surveys of major school functions and initiatives; and
• Other duties as assigned by the Head of Administration. Pastoral / Student Well-being
• Support the school’s pastoral and support programmes designed for greater student well-being
• Ensure an inclusive environment for students and the greater school
• Foster positive relationships and attitudes towards all students, parents and colleagues across the school; and
• Be mindful of your own pastoral care practices and how your approach impacts the staff, students, the school, peers and the greater community
